Hola!Since I will be taking a break I can sit down and takes lotsa notes and talk lots of back.
Avalon seemed to go over well! So I will try to replicate the effort for the other girls. 'Twas a lot of work but I've recently made some efficiencies that will make a lot of my work faster and easier thank Goooooooooood.
So first and foremost! Levi's merch store will be done May 15th. If i set a hard deadline I won't drag ass on it haha. Especially with all the free time. NOW, to explain the process a bit. Whenever I make a submission to have any of my artwork up for sale there's a small waiting period of 1-2 days. It's not annoying, but it's enough that I can't just throw up my entire catalogue and just call it a day. Plus, that would be a little overwhelming. So I'm going to try to stick to things that i personally think will do well and like.
Can I sell NSFW stuff as well? Technically yes! I can. and I will make a limited set of NSFW solo stuff available for purchase. Generally, NSFW merchandise is extremely niche and doesn't sell a whooole lot so there will be less available. But! if stuff sells on that end I will make more stuff available. I have to be a little choosy with what I go through the approval process for, I can't just take like 300 images and do that, don't have the time!
That being said, if there is a particular picture YOU would like to see for sale. Let me know! And I will see about throwing it in with what will be available.
As I stated before it will mostly be display stuff. Different types of posters, wall scrolls, things like that. Shirts, mugs, stationary blah blah. I gotta set prices and make sure the image fits on every single different iteration of whatever it's going on which is why it's so time consuming. But I have it deadset to get this done because I've been meaning to for like a fuckin' year lol. It's time. (I should mention here when it launches I will giveaway some free stuff! I haven't decided how I will do that, but it will be for you guys here.)
I am very nervous about Morrigan X Albedo because of how long it has taken. And I want to talk about here why it has taken so long, so i don't talk about it with the pack.
1) The main and primary reason, I started over. Why? Because the story felt too small, contained and too derivative of what I've done before. There are only so many ways to tell a "will they, won't they" story, but still I just didn't feel it was good enough. And it also felt too self contained. It's a shared, fun universe I've made and people exist outside of the vacuum that I create for them when I tell the stories. So I wanted and needed to expand on that.
2) My actual job has been very busy and taken a lot of my attention. I can't say exactly why, but I can say it's winding down and I've had more time for Levi lately.
3) I started learning animations. The tech is finally at a place where I think it's good enough for me to use for Levi things. There is a certain quality I needed it to be before I ventured there. And I am learning things very fast. Which is good, but also cost me a little bit of bandwidth.
So that's why. I want to stress I don't typically want to run like 3-4 months before major comic releases like this, I am hoping this is the first and also the last time this will happen. Which brings me to my next point!
I already decided that I'd let you guys choose the next comic. Just as an fyi, I already have two more comics planned I want to do as 'shorter" variants like Eugen X Asuna was. Being Cammy X Orihime, and Ada X Ruby. Because of what I have planned I don't need 100+ pages to do them, so they will come much faster. And I don't consider either of them major releases that I consider Yor X marin or Tifa X Eve was. What you will be voting on is a major release. Meaning we start fresh and go the distance with a big bombastic story! I'm excited to work on something new, but I have a problem.
I want to make available any girl that is not currently in a planned comic or had one. But that presents an issue of probably being predictable. For example; Rias Gremory. If I put her in a poll for a comic, it is an almost certainty that she will win. But she has yet to be officially paired in Levi-verse, so I technically should include her.
I hope what I'm saying makes sense? The S-tiers we'll call them, Rias, 2b , Tifa, Eve, Yor , Marin, Freiren, Chun-li. Girls that DOMINATE any kind of fanart poll. Even the Tifa X Eve comic whenever I made that poll I already knew who the winners were gonna be lmfao. Now I like how it turned out! But if every comic is just the same winners over and over it gets kinda stale.
So, I have this problem where I'm not sure wether I remove 'S-tiers' from the poll for the next comic or not. And I wanted to get a beat on the vibe of how you guys felt about that.
I guess the last thing as that I have a lot of exciting OC projects I want to do, especially animation wise! Other than the music video I don't want to announce anything until it's closer to completion. But i just wanted to assure everyone the OC girls are still a major focus and always will be!
