Hello, hope you're doing well.
Here we have the first of two new videos for this week ... maybe even 3 if I get a good wiggle on ... and this one is dying for you to get your fingers on it! Say hello to BATHYMETER.
This is from Carson, DivKid community member you may see around in our Discord and it's his second collaboration module release. The first was with Winterbloom on the Neptune filter and Bathymeter is made with the Mega Modular Corporation.
It's a 4 channel gesture recorder that records your movements of it's slider onto 1 of 4 channels and allows for manipulating that for anything from human motion LFOs, creatively shaped one shot envelopes, clocked melodies + modulation, human wonky Dilla esq manual gates and even some quirky audio processing.
Here's the system used for the video demo. I did swap out some modules including using the Frap Tools Fumana, WMD Chimera, WMD Clutch, Infrasonic Warp Core and Steady State Fate SSG Stereo Field
COMING UP
On Wednesday I'll have a video of Deuxd, a pre/post cross modulation focused stereo filter from Mehr Music Machines, there's utterly beastly tones out of that one that get really nasty while retaining musicality and an ease of bending in and our of cleaner or dirtier sounds.
Following that will be the Best of Eurorack 2025 video. With that in mind the deadline for votes for your favourite Eurorack module of the year (as in released in 2025, any earlier released will be ignored) in THIS WEDNESDAY. Head HERE to the form to leave the company name and module name you're voting for, there's no sign in and it'll take less than 30 seconds. Thanks!
Beyond that I'm not sure what the final week or so of the year will hold just yet, other than festive treats, family time and some planning for next year.
As always see you in the Discord and a huge thank you for all your support as always.
