Hello,
hope you're well and having a great start to the year. Things are SLOOOOOOOW here. I have a cold that's back with a vengeance! I lost my voice just before Christmas with it which really slowed down some video plans, we had a nice family filled Christmas still but now I feel super lousy again. Nothing major or really bad, it will pass, but I just wanted to say it and acknowledge that things are slow at the moment. I was hoping to be launching into several things and with much to share right away this year but that's not ready yet.
So with that in mind I wanted to post a Happy New Year! and also to share an exclusive video with everyone, of any tier, not just the $5+ tier where those supporters get access to exclusive videos. A small new years treat shall we say. This is just for this video, in case my wording suggests otherwise, exclusives (beyond Discord access) remain for the $5+ tier supporters.
The video is all about the ModBap (modular boom bap) style beat that I made in the WMD Clutch demo. There's a lot I like about that patch so I enjoyed taking a step back and explaining the whole thing 'zoomed out'. I hope there's some nice takeaway elements and ideas you can try out.
