Ay up duck!
Hope you're well and ready for some splicing of your waveforms! Here's the new SW3 Splice module from DPW Design. You may have seen this one shown back at Superbooth and it's out now in its final form.
At it's core Splice is a dual channel switch. However it builds on DPW's ideas around their Switch and Zero modules, for zero crossing equal value switching or with slope detection equal voltage and equal direction crossing ... basically artefact free smart switching that's easy to use. You don't have to think about the complexities, the circuit deals with that, leaving you to dream up creative applications with it.
This is a '3 PATCHES' series video, where we distill things to just 3 patches, though I did add some bonus bits to change up input sources and in the video we have some great and unique sounding mono to stereo audio waveform splicing, splicing LFOs for unique modulation, auto switching through LFOs against envelopes and a dystopian crunchy sounding way to smash parallel reverb and delay together. This could also be mutes, manual gates or a whole host of other things the more I think about it since filming the patches.
