Feels like a while since the last post, I've been down with some sort of viral thing - boooo - but catching up a and looking forward to sharing this new video.
Here's Swell from Bartola Instruments, which is releasing in a few weeks, but as the module is out there publicly I thought I'd share a 'FIRST PATCH', which is the first one of those in a good while. I really like the idea of just sharing first impressions, first experience, sounds and what something does, or rather what I do to it, the first time it's plugged in.
For this patch I thought I'd go with lots of dynamic rhythmic animation, which a friend described as "dancing filters" a while back and to walk through that as something you can try on lots of filters while also having the chance to share the sound of this particular module at the same time ... and in doing that ask - what would you like to see from Swell? I'm happy to take questions/requests for the in depth demo I'll be working on for the release of the module that follows.
There's patch notes for everyone in the YouTube description for this patch, it's applicable to any filter so if you're not mixing modulation, creating accent inputs, step sequence and inverted sequence filter frequency and resonance then give it a go!
