Hey everyone, I wanted to touch base again about the upcoming payment change. If you missed the full rundown with all the details please read my previous post on the subject where I go into all that. If you don't have time for that much reading, here's the important stuff:
I am switching from a "per-creation" billing model to a "monthly subscription" billing model. This was not my decision, it is mandatory.
This change will either go into effect for your payment on June 1st or July 1st depending on how fast support gets back to me. I am shooting for June.
The amount you're paying per month WILL NOT CHANGE. I typically upload two pages a month, so I am keeping it simple and converting the $2 per page tier to a $4 per month tier, and the $3 per page tier to a $6 per month tier.
If you are a patron when the switch happens your billing date will remain on the 1st of the month, as always. If you join (or leave and rejoin) after the switch happens, your billing date will recur on the day you join instead.
If you have a monthly cap set for how much you can afford to payout, those WILL BE HONORED even after the switch, so long as your payment info doesn't change.
I am planning to get in touch with support very soon to get the ball rolling. My understanding is that the change should largely be seamless for patrons, but I will let you know if there's important details to share about the process on your guys' end.
