Hello friends!
I just wanted to take a minute to give you guys an update on next season; your patience is soon to be richly rewarded!
I'm almost done with the script for the second (and final) between-seasons episode, which is going to be one hell of a ride, and I have already finished the first SIX scripts for Season 3. For perspective, I've never been ONE script ahead, let alone six, so I'm hoping to release episodes at a much more regular pace than I did in S2, major life changes notwithstanding. I plan to put out episodes about every eight days from August to October 31. The Halloween Special will be the mid-season finale, at which point I'll regroup, take a month or so to get another head start, and commence the second half of S3 with another themed month (let the speculation begin).
Re: Valedictorian Playthroughs, it would be really nice if I could get through the rest before S3 starts, but I can't guarantee it. I've had a few audio screwups with the 3HA series, which got me down on recording live in general. Hopefully I'll be able to bang out a bunch of them in a weekend and generate some hype leading into the S3 premiere.
Anyway, I'm moving this weekend, but you can expect another Dean of Doom ~special~ next week and then the show will return in the first or second week of August. I'm incredibly excited about this season...this might be the most quality I've packed into a single season so far, at least the first half. It's unbelievable how much good Doom is out there waiting to be discovered.
