Updates!

Okay, I'm not exactly back yet, but I'm at least on my way back!

Taking time off for the past few weeks has certainly helped, but I'm still getting over this burnout phase I've been struggling with throughout the summer. As far as writing goes, I had even started doing some work, but then I caught a brutal cold/flu that knocked me flat for much longer than I expected, so now I'm also recovering from that, yay...

Anyways, the good news is that I've been thinking about the new AOHCR stuff, and I now have a clear idea of what happened with Shelly while she was in the UK, meaning that I know exactly how the reunion with Mike will play out and what Shelly's perspective will be when the two of them meet again. That was a very important plot point, and I'm glad I've worked it out.

In fact, I've concocted a pretty nice set of parallel adventures for Shelly that would deserve to become a spin-off in its own right at some point, possibly a Vignette series, maybe... Anyways, all this to say that I have, to an extent, been doing some 'writing' for the second season of AOHCR.

Also, I've done some actual writing too, a couple of weeks back: as a spur of the moment thing, I began banging out chapter 2 of the Nancy spin-off Vignette! I got almost halfway through the new installment before I caught this goddamn cold and was suddenly unable to do anything much at all.

Still, some of the new Nancy stuff is written down, plenty of Shelly ideas are clear and jotted down too, so yeah, I guess even if this doesn't fully qualify as 'good' news, it ain't all that bad either!
