Wow this was a doozy! I really enjoyed making this though. I feel like I'm finally using my art degree whenever I draw things like this lol
I based this drawing off of a painting by Lord Frederic Leighton called Flaming June. It's a really beautiful painting and the awkward sleeping pose reminded me of Frieren so that's why I chose it to recreate!
I need to work on faces though. like rendering anime noses just doesn't make sense at all to me lol
anyway- next I'll be doing another frieren drawing for Fourth of July! can you believe that that's this week?? damn the summer is like half over already.
I should have that sketch up either late tonight or sometime tomorrow!
