Finally... I can finally sit and give you a proper report. There are a lot of things I would like to discuss, so I hope my mind won't go crazy and I won't forget anything important. My mind is just overwhelmed these days, and I'm thinking about how to figure all this sh*t out. Thank you for giving a sh*t and reading my diary.
SAVE YOUR MONEY:
Let's begin with one of the most important things I would like to talk about. As I mentioned in previous notes of this diary, I'm dealing with stuff around taxes and fees. It's not an easy topic to talk about... especially in English. So. As you know, I'm not a US citizen, so there are walls I have to climb over and maybe keep some of the money you are supporting me with. There are so many things about this topic; it will be a miracle if I don't forget anything... A few weeks ago I had to do a deep dive into statistics and documents to provide a proper report to my country. Making money out of Europe is so damn hard because I have to pay double taxes and VATs, pay huge platform fees, and pay currency transfers. So I found out I'm losing around half of my potential profit. But it is what it is... But I want to optimize my service to reduce losses. Let's talk about upcoming changes.
CHANGES and iOS
I decided to change my main currency to USD. Most of my fans are from the US, so I would like to make this way easier for everyone. And one of the major things is iOS. Please. I'll make a few more posts about this.
DO NOT PAY MEMBERSHIPS OR ANYTHING WITH iOS!
It costs you more; there are bigger taxes for it, and I'll keep the minimum from it. The best part is that this payment is processing around 3 months before I can even use it. Use a web browser instead. Save your money and your support will be much bigger. Thank you.
MY PERSONAL SITUATION
As I mentioned. I'm still fighting with tax authorities and the state in general. Unfortunately, this is the dark side of creation and making money as an individual. I'm giving you the honest truth, and I want to share these things with you. You are my blessing, my amazing fans. I'm sure a lot of creators had to stop doing what they love because of this. We live in society and in the cruel system. But don't worry. I'm not leaving. I built this community from nothing, and I will fight for it. Thank you for being with me.
Things are setting down, and I'm still creating my own system to stabilize work and coexist with these facts. I'm still learning about these topics. Meanwhile, my college is coming to an end, and I have to deal with hospital shifts, an undergraduate thesis, and final exams... It's a crazy roller coaster.
