Since the release of v0.5, I've received numerous concerns about the storyline of Uemura Yui, our beloved convenience store clerk. Many are understandably wondering if her storyline is complete with no room for any other alternative routes. This post is to help clarify her future.
Originally, Yui was created as a filler character to bridge the gaps between the main events, and her story wasn’t planned to have an actual ending until the very last moment before the release of v0.5. However, after seeing the overwhelming compassion and interest you’ve shown for her, I’ve decided to expand her storyline. In short, Yui will receive a good ending, but it will take some time for her narrative to develop and reach the conclusion.
That said, this expansion does not mean her storyline will be incorporated into the main plot. For instance, Ako (your maid) won’t be interacting with Yui, and the decisions you make in her storyline will not affect the main story's progression.
