[kpop] i-dle - Queencard (~87 vids synced)

I took my sweet time polishing this one. There’s so much content out there using this song, and I have plans for hybrid scripts with it too. So I really wanted to make sure this version felt as final as it could be.

What really struck me after working on this script is how intentional everything about i-dle feels. It’s like every lyric, transition, and even beat drop has this tongue-in-cheek self-awareness that is just... entertaining!

Soyeon in particular blows me away. Absolutely comedian lyrical genius! Building commentary of kpop itself itself. Queencard sounds like a fun, self-confident anthem on the surface, but when you dig into the lyrics and visuals, it’s such a clever satire of validation, identity, and self-love - and pokes fun at nugu groups (sadly). It’s wild how she and i-dle can wrap all of that into something that’s still so fun and danceable with amazing visuals!

And from a scripting perspective, the mix of confidence, chaos, and playfulness gives this script such a dynamic feeling compared that made it so so satisfying and fun to work with.

I truly had a great time scripting, testing and editing this in the past week and I hope you all enjoy it too!
