Marionette is one of those songs where the aesthetic, choreography, and era history all come together into something unmistakably iconic and infamous. Revisiting it for scripting reminded me just how ahead of its time this release was.
The visuals were so bold they sparked a lot of conversation when it dropped, from the age-restricted MV to heavy broadcast censorship and the infamous choreo edits on music shows. Nowadays, we’ve got girl groups from the Big 4 doing even more provocative dances with even more revealing outfits :ilost: Stellar was simply too damn early! .... though, they likely wouldn’t have made the same cultural dent if they debuted in Gen 4.
In any case, Stellar left a mark… And was one of my first foray's into kpf :owoSpin: And it also happens to translate really well into a script :cooldoge~1:
I enjoyed bringing this script to life and tested it over the last few weeks making tweaks. I think it's in a good spot now for release!
