Rean week! We sadly don't have any visual representation as our artist is still busy with the H-CG variations for the Tier 2 Banditwear costume (Hope this will be done soon...), but narratively the scene now reacts to various corruption progressions.Rean's wee-wee getting smaller (At <100 size he will also gain a new disease Quickshot which will reduce the number of pleasure ticks by one), Liora gaining progress in Reshaped Pussy and Sexual Expectations, Sexual Frustration, there are quite a lot of variations that can now tirgger during the sex scene with him. This also has a minor gameplay impact as gaining a lot of these variations will negate the Attuned bonus.
If Liora had sex with Edgar, there are also two new social clauses:
Venting frustration about Rean when he disappoints Liora
Venting frustration about Rean when doing sexual service training with Ariadne
Currently, there are two trigger conditions for disappointing Liora, one in bed, and if your Rean gets KOed a lot, the snarky comments from Edgar after returning from the dungeon can also trigger this. There is also in general some background statistics gathering that's going on now tracking individual KO counts, damage dealt etc. Next month, the plan is to visualize this in a submenu in the Compendium and then also further have some reactivity components based off that.
As mentioned above, the other action that can trigger Liora venting about Rean, is during sexual service training with Ariadne, which now as has a "gossipping" module. Initialliy, Liora will refuse to talk bad about Rean, but will go along with it when the clause triggers.
All of this of course serves to deal relationship damage to Rean.
In terms of new clauses, we also have one more high cost clause that triggers a sex scene with Edgar upon him paying for Rean's treatment. This clause is not available during regular negotiation as its base value is 3000 I think and Edgar will only try to go for this in advantageous situations, such as on Treatment Day or during a date. It's kind of the first clause of this type, although I might move the Strategize Prohibition in here as well.
Then, we have one more new invisible variable "rumors". As Liora performs acts with Edgar, this variable will go up. Going on dates and letting him harass her in Thornefield gives 1 point each, but what really boosts it up is if Liora has the kissing clause and kisses Edgar during a morning negotiation or treatment day. At 20, a new scene will trigger.
Of course, Rean is steadfast in his belief in Liora! Although, relationship damage from acts of going with Edgar will hurt Rean a tick more as he can't help but wonder about the rumors...
Finally, two last changes: I have reverted the clause negotiations to the previous style of 3 rotating clauses per day as I wasn't super happy with the full menu variation. I generally prefer the "here's what I have to offer, take it or leave it" style of limited clause offers.
And then: We have survived the Steam roulette! The SFW version for Liora's Demo was sadly rejected, so I had to submit it as an adult only game which carries a lot of risk... And it seems to have gone through.
In order to encourage trying the steam demo I have increased the demo days by 5 days for those not playing the prereleases. As an extra note, the demo is based on this prerelease so it has all the stuff added in the current 0.5.0 development cycle.
