As usual, the release post will focus on highlighting the main additions of this major update. For detailed insights, please check out the weekly devlog posts.
Since a couple of posts have been flagged by Patreon, I'm scared there is some kind of weird strike system in the background that will get us suspended, so the rest of the post will be paywalled. Sorry for the invonience and I'm not sure what changed in the Patreon backend to see nudity in posts that clearly don't have any but I will bet it has something to do with bad AI usage...
1) Tier 2 Costumes and Other Assets
In terms of milestone advances, getting the next tier of costumes is probably one of the biggest contributions of this update. Sadly our artist only managed to finish the H-CG variations of 2 / 3, so we are still short on the Dollwear Tier 2 outfit.
To get the Tier 2 Costumes, you can now use the new upgrade clauses which allow you to upgrade all clauses requiring the costume specified in the clause by the Tier 2 Costume of your choice (as mentioned before, 2 / 3 costumes are done, so currently only those two options are supported).
Haven't signed any contracts for Tier 1 Costumes and want to start with Tier 2? No problem! Provided you have sufficient Lewdness, the Tier 2 Costumes options will also appear in the original costume clauses.
Besides the new costumes, we also have finally added some more variations to the Rean Date scene. Rean's dick now properly shrinks as the Decay advances and Liora has received more expressions to react to show her growing disappointment in Rean.
Besides art stuff, we also have some new assets on the sound side. A new default battle BGM from our composer and from our voice actress Allure tons of new voice over footage past the intro. Story events in the first two weeks have received voice acting alongside the Masturbation Event and the Work for Edgar event with the therein contained Sexual Service Event.
2) New Quests
From our assistant developer Trihan, we have quite a few new quests
Frame Job - The main big addition. Defend Rean in a trial accusing him of theft, should Liora fail and lose faith in Rean's innocence, their relationship will take quite the hit..
Hunter's Chance - A new negotiation type quest similar to Fair Trade where you can either invest a lot of money into the town to raise its prosperity or convince Edgar to leverage either his wealth or abilities to do so in your place. Asking Edgar will of course trigger a negotiation with his price attached.
3) New Main Dungeon Areas
The western side building is no longer a mere placeholder! Among the new bosses that you can challenge here, there is one that is probably particularly interesting as its filled with a bunch of new concepts that I hadn't used yet. In particular, if you let it charge up its main attack it can trigger Rean's Decay progression. Defeat it and you can get a special drop that you can either sell for a quick buck or bring to Jonah for a long-term impactful -250 Gold Treatment Costs reduction.
4) Sexual Frustration and Rean
Corrupting Liora now has some first consequences on her behavior. Let Sexual Frustration get high and she will now be able to trigger masturbation scenes on her own without a need for a contract - but of course triggering any clauses related to it in the process. Should you not have any dildo clauses, Liora will also seek out using those without a need for a contract should her penis preference stat be really high...
But wait! I see the option to go on a date with Rean instead!
While this will work at first, this update's new content for the Rean Date also include Liora reacting to the lack of pleasure she gets from Rean as her body becomes more and more corrupted and sex with him more frustrating than fulfilling.
If you get the new clause that makes Liora express her disappointment in Rean, she will also bring it up and get into a fight with Rean, progressing the relationship deterioration of the couple.
The update also has various new passives or reworks of old passives like Rising Heat to better simulate Liora's corruption and generate increased amounts of Sexual Frustration. In particular, new modifiers reduce the amount of Sexual Frustration that gets reduced on Orgasm.
In the general, the update has a couple of minor additions here and there that further interact with the process of damaging Liora's relationship with Rean. There is also a new clause where she has to express her disappointment in case Rean does badly in battle and keeps getting knocked out without killing all too much.
And another clause forces her to be honest with Edgar in bed, who will gladly use the opportuntiy to make Liora verbalize Rean's inadequacy once Edgar's pleasure generation exceed's Reans.
5) Quality of Life & More Stuff
Aside from the main additions, we also have a bunch of small stuff. New Rank II Martials, a bunch of minor quality of life improvements such as the Backlog 2.0 with voice playback , and so on and so forth. But I will just defer to the changelog for those.
