[Game Release] Click to Struggle?!
DESCRIPTION

Meow-Wow!

Lookie that, I completely remade the Press To Struggle(P2S) Engine from the ground up. The new one is called Click To Struggle (C2S) and it's got a bunch of great new features! I'll break down the goals of the new engine, features which have been implemented, and plans for the future.

Not only that, there's a bespoke demo game featuring Zyyph the Snow Leopard you can play RIGHT NOW!

How To Play

The file is down below. If you want to play it, just give it a little unzip and run the .exe! As of now, it is only available on Windows Devices. I will port to mac and browser next week after the first round of feedback.

A New Engine

I'm still using Unity but I've upgraded to the latest release. What differentiates Click To Struggle (C2S) from its predecessor is that it's much easier to develop long, more complicated animations that can be seamlessly strung together. It also has a more cohesive and well-programmed dialog and event system. In basic terms; developing for this game is easier, faster, and produces more consistent results.

Development Plan

Similar to P2S, I would like this game to be an anthology of minigames. The goal is variety, expanding on past ideas and continuing to develop new skills for interactive animation within Unity. This game will feature significantly longer animation with more ambitious elements, so I've elected to sharpen the project with intermittent user feedback.

Expect it to be pretty unstable until milestone releases come out!!If you want to support the development of C2S, please consider filling out my survey! It helps a lot to have a catalog of bugs to squash, ideas to implement, and opinions to consider from different perspectives. I will be releasing an updated version with fixes and additions at the end of next week. Feedback Survey is here!!!

This game, as well as most of my projects, are produced by a one-man team. It's a big help to have your support. Thanks for your patience while I've been learning and experimenting! - Zyyphelze
