Deckbiter update time!

We got some fun stuff and slight progress. First off, a new leader, The Throne Of Lies. It's pretty embarrassing to sit on a mimic, especially one with big teeth. This the first of the new leaders for the second set of the game. I'm planning expansions as 10 leaders each, along with 10 cards that'll work in that leader's deck. Leaders and cards won't always come out together since it's impossible to know when I'll get art back for the game.
The Throne flips the egg archetype sunnyside up. Eggs that take longer to hatch sucks, but eggs that deal damage when attacking or when attacked is pretty neat! This turns all of your eggs into tiny free threats that have the potential of hatching into bigger threats. It's a fun twist, and I'm curious to see how the decks shape out, especially with Gilded Hellkite now taking 12 turns to hatch :P
The first of the new cards is Bad Egg. This helps spice up all of the egg decks. Eggs were already great for bluffing and mindgames, but now with the risk of any egg possibly being a mimic, we're gunna hopefully see some new tricky plays. I'm pretty sure that all of my new decks will have at least one mimic slotted as a trap, or I'll at least be telling everyone that there's one ;)
Shrimp Fried Rice came about because I'm a dork who loves bad jokes. It's a gag card, but it actually really fits the themes of Deckbiter and I think it'll find a home in Auri decks who need more early meat generation. Between Porkchops, Chomp, and the rice, that's 12 cards that can all generate some easy meat. We'll have to see what effect that'll have on the meta.
As our last update, the lobby interface finally got some love! I'm still fuckin' with the main game interface when I can, but I'm being spread out across a lot of different projects so it's not getting the love it needs. We're moving in the right direction, just sloooowly.
I appreciate everyone's patience with Deckbiter. I'm once more in talks with numerous artists and am slowly starting to get these next 100 cards all sorted. Good things are afoot and I'm really excited to see how the game evolves moving forward.
