It’s been two years since I started cosplaying, and I can hardly believe I’ve done over 30 cosplays already. Truthfully, I never expected to reach this many, but it’s been such a fun journey. Cosplaying is something I’ve always wanted to do as a teenager, but I never had the resources or confidence back then. The irony of finally doing it now in my 30s 😂
My very first cosplay was Ganyu back in May 2024, so I thought revisiting her in May 2026 would be a nice way to tie it all together. However, whether it’s due to algorithm changes or a general drop in interest in cosplay content, the engagement on this style of posts (at least for me) hasn’t been great. While I still enjoy it a lot, the amount of time and effort required compared to the return just isn’t sustainable right now. For that reason, I’ll be pausing regular cosplay content for the time being.
That said, I’m not stopping cosplays entirely. Going forward, I just won’t be doing one per month anymore. That slot has largely been replaced by the MeiSMR series, and any future cosplays will likely be more occasional and tied in with my planned projects!
Thank you all so much for your support on this journey, it’s meant a lot to me that, in a way, I could finally live out my teenage dreams as an adult. I hope you’ll continue to enjoy the other projects I’m working on 💙
