Update: Help Me Support Trans Rights! (UK and US) 🏳️‍⚧️💐 🧡

Hey everyone. I wanted to talk about something that's close to my heart for a minute.

Recent developments in US politics and an ongoing situation in UK politics has me worried for the rights and safety of transgender people.

It's so easy to read the news and feel powerless... And I hate feeling powerless. I'm lucky to have an audience and a wide reach. I wanted to use it for something good.

I've set up two fundraisers. In the USA, for The Transgender Law Center. In the UK, for Gendered Intelligence:

Both organisations are at the forefront of defending and assisting trans people in their respective countries though policy advocacy, education, support groups and more.

I've started the fundraisers with two separate donations of roughly $150/£120. I planned to also match the first $250 and £200 of donations from other users, and the US fundraiser already hit that target when I soft-launched it on Discord last night. My matching contribution there has already been made but the UK fundraiser is yet to reach that mark.

The fundraisers will run until the 18th of February. And please note: The fundraising platforms were selected by the beneficiaries, all donations go directly to the charities. I am not a middleman.
