Hey all! I'll be closing the Discord server 'Haus of Rat' later in April. It ran for about 4 years and was a lot of fun. I got to know a lot of people through there and tried a lot of new things. But even just knowing the server is around, there's a silent expectation that I should at least check in more than I do, greet people, etc. I'm not around there as much anymore and don't want to force myself back into it and create an obligation that I feel I must then maintain. I do wish I had more of a social battery, but I have to be honest with myself and let it go for my own peace of mind. The mods have been fantastic all throughout, and I'm very grateful for their help in having a super fun place to hang out. For commission opening alerts, I'll stick to simply announcing them on social media in the event that there are openings (FA, Bsky). I may experiment with a Telegram channel again due to how easily things get "buried" on social media though.
