Quite a long labour, this one. We're (finally!) moving onto the last few pages of this story.
I set this page up as a reverse version of page five. I got an outsized black and white version of Watchmen as a birthday present a few years ago. Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons wrote a detailed commentary for each page describing the process of making the comic, and I was blown away by the amount of intricate detail they put into it-- stuff you'd never notice at a casual glance. One of the many clever things they did was to make a whole issue a reverse version of an earlier one, with the exact same layouts flipped over. These next few pages are kind of a little homage to that.
