As I mentioned on the TA Bluesky, I've been working on the Keisuke update for a while now. I've been struggling a fair bit with his route lately as, the more it touches on his family's business and the corporate world, the more research I have to keep constantly doing to make sure I'm not having the characters say outlandish-ly incorrect things.
That said, it's getting to a point where it's bogging down development, as I'm constantly fact checking and having to stop writing to research and balancing the characters saying things accurately with not making it sound like a PSA. It's gotten to a point where I can't get any kind of flow when writing these scenes because every sentence or two I have to stop and go down another hours long research rabbit hole (no pun intended).
I'll probably lower my "barrier" for accuracy and try not to sweat it too much to make things sound realistic or possible, because if I keep doing that with Keisuke's route, I'll likely need to get a business degree just to finish it. It also isn't helped by the fact this update is written entirely from Keisuke's POV, and trying to make him sound distinct from Yuuichi and also distinctly like Keisuke for an entire update was more work than I thought it'd be.
That aside, I also want to mention again (or at least I think I mentioned before) that my partner is currently visiting and it is our first time seeing each other in five years. This is his last month here with me (there are precisely 17 and a half days left on his trip) and so spending time with him had been my priority, which did also slow down development a fair bit. I'm sorry for that.
