Woo, back to backgrounds and drawing something besides closeups!
I must admit I've been struggling with this comic for a bit. I wasn't sure why but I suspected I might have lost a bit of interest for the story or maybe the characters. It turns out it's mostly due to drawing the same things over and over again... Which makes sense for a comic like this! But I had fun with this weeks page and I think it's because we are back with backgrounds and drawing the characters moving around.
I'll still finish the comic, no doubt about that. It's just the first time I've had such a drawing slump with one of my projects before. It's certainly a self discovery opportunity.
Now for some behind the scene stuff:
I usually work on my pages alone. Like, without talking to anyone meanwhile. I joined a couple of artist friends on a voice chat while coloring this page, and while I feltlike I could concentrate more and it was cozy as hell, it also felt like it took so much longer to finish...? Not sure if it was actually the case, but it was a weird experience.
