Hello, Alternauts! Storm here. Just wanted to stop in and give you a brief update on progress and share a sneak-peek render of Hannah. Is she back? Is this a flashback? Has MC been kidnapped and this is him experiencing Stockholm syndrome? We aren't spilling the beans there just yet.
A quick breakdown on the numbers:
Renders: 200+
Animations: 16
Script: 5,000 words
Based on previous chapters, that puts us about 15% of the way done. The holidays did kind of delay things a bit, but we're well underway now.
We also had a bit of a delay on getting a few things done with the chapter 3 release, but those are now being addressed. For instance, our Android build should be out in the next couple of days. We'll also be updating the game to include a new feature: character profiles. Additionally, we'll be getting translation matrices out to our translators so they can finally get working on that.
I've also got our composer, Joe, working on the last few tracks for chapter 3. We had some placeholders in the release, so if you hear a change in the music for a few scenes that's why.
All in all, work is coming along! Thank you all for being here. We'll be updating a bit more frequently during chapter 4 development, so keep an eye out for future previews!
