Full Preview: April 2026 - Bastion of the Wandering Mage + 5 Year Anniversary
Hey everyone! Here it is, the full preview for our special 5 Year Anniversary Release: Bastion of the Wandering Mage.
This is the BIGGEST pack we have ever made by a long shot. The biggest terrain set, biggest roster and our second largest campaign, not to mention the massive host of goodies you're getting for our Anniversary release itself as well.
The Release
Like I said, our biggest yet: 30 Unique models, not including additional variations. There's new and familiar faces in there, plus a whole bunch of classic monsters that can fit into any campaign (or be used in ours for this month!).
Our biggest terrain set ever, measuring at a whopping 30 build plates, and ~800x600mm (plus three levels tall), the Bastion of the Wandering Mage is easily our biggest playable terrain set yet. It also comes with 41 pieces of additional furniture and props.
The Extra Goodies
All our subscribers for our anniversary release will get additional goodies: both a limited edition DM Stash 5 Year Anniversary Plinth, and our very first prop! The Longsword of Erdrydion with a special DM Stash 5 Year Anniversary engraving.

One of the biggest parts of our Anniversary, and my personal favourite, as our community gievs it their all in our yearly Anniversary Painting Competition. Choose a medium-sized model of your choice at 32mm scale, and paint it to the best of your ability. A shortlist of 10 will be selected by an ELO-based ranking system that we purpose built for this competition.
Those 10 will be announced and receive judging from our guest judges on a scale of 1-10, with video feedback provided by each judge for their top 3 pieces! The winners get the below prizes!

All this can be seen once the competition shows up here on April 1st, though entries won't begin until later in the month.
As a side note, we heard a lot of feedback for our competition last year, and in listening to that feedback, have made some strong changes to how the public voting is conducted. This will ensure that it is as fair as it can possibly be with involving public voting, and discourage people from having friends or family swarm to vote for their minis. It should instead encourage balanced and fair voting across the community using a pairing/ELO-based system.
