Hey hey, everyone!
Here's the complete final preview for our upcoming May 2026 release: Welcome to the Arena. This was a theme that was voted by our subscribers during our last theme poll back in February. It was great to visit as a theme, with it being the kind of theme that gives us a lot of freedom in the models we come up with.
This is the first part of our next saga: the Dire Tidings Saga, a 3 part story that sees the party entangled with a conspiracy that follows the kingdom of Draksborne in the wake of its near-destruction from Dragonblight. This campaign has them fighting in the arena, with a tournament structure and maps set up in a way that the rules can also be brought into any existing setting or campaign.
Terrain: The Crucible
This month's terrain is once again, the namesake of the pack, being the Arena itself. The way we've made it allows it to be modular, with you able to adjust the sizing yourself if you don't plan to use it with our existing battle maps. We have also supplied it in two scales as well, with a "Full Scale" version where everything is made to scale with the 32mm minis, and a "playable scale" version that is half the size. The reason for this is the Full Scale version walls are quite tall, at almost 20cm, and can make play difficult, especially if you don't have the space for it.
