DESCRIPTION

The Neverending Dungeon is a living megadungeon that grows deeper every week. Every new paid patron adds one new room to the dungeon, and fresh chambers are released every Friday as it expands layer by layer into the dark.

The Neverending Dungeon has stood in brooding silence for longer than memory, its threshold yawning like the grave of a god. Those who have entered seeking plunder or renown have not returned, and the few broken souls who staggered back spoke only in fragments—of corridors that shift, of traps devised with hateful genius, of presences that watch without breath or mercy. Some claim it was wrought as a proving ground for tyrants; others that it is the scar left by a ritual too vast to contain. Whatever its origin, it does not forgive error, nor does it reward hesitation. Now you stand before its lightless descent, drawn by greed, pride, desperation, or fate. Know this: the dungeon is deeper than reason, wider than fear, and it has no end—only consequences.

The Shattered Gate of Khuldraz-Thane

Once, this valley rang with hammer-song and the thunder of forge-fires. It was the outer approach to Khuldraz-Thane, a grand dwarven citadel carved into the mountain’s heart, its entrance guarded by ranks of colossal stone ancestors standing shoulder to shoulder in eternal vigilance. Now those statues lie cracked and strangled by roots, their faces worn smooth by wind and time, their runes choked with moss. No birds nest here. No beasts graze. Even the wind seems reluctant to linger among the toppled giants.

In this desolation, the Bean Clan has made its nest. Known as raiders, cutthroats, and worse—whispered to feast upon their enemies—they have claimed the sundered gatehouse as their stronghold. Tattered banners hang between broken colonnades, cook fires burn in the shadow of ancient dwarven reliefs, and watchmen peer from arrow slits once meant to repel goblin hordes. Only such madmen would dare dwell in a place so shunned by the living.

Yet those who come seeking to end the Beans’ cruelty soon learn a darker truth. The gatehouse is but the skin of something far older. Behind looted barracks and blood-slick halls lie sealed stone valves, descending lifts frozen in place, and corridors slanting into blackness untouched by the outlaws’ torches. The dwarves built deep—and what remains below has waited in silence far longer than the Bean Clan has squatted at its door.
