Hee Hee Ohh Ohh, time for some dev news!
So I have been adding the reworked story for v0.23 and the more I was working on implementing it, the more I'm coming to the realization that this COULD be my personal favorite update (the keyword here is COULD). Now at first I managed to just ignore that for the sake of releasing this as fast as possible. But the more I work on it the more I see the insane potential of this update.
So today I woke up with a dilemma. Do I just rush the tasks that are left and throw away this potential. Or do I cook the absolute living fuck out of this update so it reaches it's full potential and take all the (totally understandable) frustration y'all are probably experiencing right now.
Now this is not a easy decision, I have been mulling over this the entire day, so much so that it is interfering with development. I don't want to disappoint or piss you all off and let's be honest here, I could just release an good enough update and most of you would be happy. Except me, I would be playing through this update while being constantly reminded of what it COULD have been.
I'm sorry, I can't throw away this potential. I just can't. I appreciate all of you a lot and hate making you all wait. But throwing this away would fill me with regret, and why would I do something that I know I'm going to regret a lot.
It won't take THAT long so you won't need to wait till the end of the month or something since a huge chunk is already done. But it won't be fast either. Even though it won't be the biggest update or the longest, I hope this update will dethrone whatever previous update was your favorite.
So feel free to flame/hate me while I try and cook this update to meet it's full potential!😏
