Here's a little thing I was working on a few months ago. It's a potential remake of the free Windows 95 game, Hover 95. It wanted to remake that game in full, with a new fast paced gameplay style and full 3D graphics, while still retaining the aesthetics and thoughts of that era and generation.
There was an official microsoft web remake of Hover 95 back in 2013, made to show off webGL, but I think it looks awful to be honest, and I don't think it at all captured the feel of the original game in the slightest.
Did any of you play Hover 95 as kids? Though this project is currently on the shelf, I think it would be cool to one day return to it, it's a lot of fun to just move around in the current demo.
