DESCRIPTION

Some more (potentially boring) abstract stuff.

I don't really know what this one is supposed to be- a lot of these are just me fumbling around with Houdini's procedural toolkit while trying to figure out how to do various things, which may or may not result in something that can be rendered afterwards.

This one actually started out life as some helium hose tests, which landed up being rather straightforward and extremely uneventful. That later turned into some twisted rope and fraying experiments (both of which are way, way easier to do in Houdini than C4D), which were also equally as boring. Somewhere along the line I figured it might be interesting to see if I could create a double helix DNA strand completely procedurally, which eventually morphed into the above image (there's actually only a single curve driving the entire path and design of the strand, so it can basically be contorted into any shape imaginable and everything else will automatically follow along).

Anyways, yeah. Random side projects and stuff... time to get back to character work, I guess.
