I am not doing well, the impending threat of having to move soon due to a roommate planning on leaving meaning we no longer will be able to collectively afford rent where I'm currently living.
I have unfinished sbq commissions I haven't felt like I've been able to work on since january, and then some artwork thats been in the queue for far longer.
I have to pay taxes to a government that would rather me not exist and its probably going to take well over half of what I currently have banked.
My only income being from patreon is a sword of damocles hanging overhead with the internet laws progressing as they are.
I'm not ok.
One of my bad coping methods is hyperfixating on something until I just can't face the issues anymore.
I think the fixation on making This Fancy New Automation Mod was part of that, I couldn't get myself excited for any of the vore stuff with the looming threats on the horizon so the comms fell off, but somehow the spite of doing something better than other existing mods was enough to entice me to do the automation mod as my coping project. Zygan has been good at trying to keep me positive, and is also the reason that mod isn't just a bunch of recolored crates as a simple proof of concept. If you are going to try that, make sure you use the most recent build of SBQ or OSB also, since it requires some more recent additions to OSB for some parts to function.
I really don't want to half-heatedly work on things people paid me to put effort into. But I also am bleeding money and I need more, but I refuse to take more comms when I have these unfinished ones done so, I don't know. I'm also seemingly banned from ever having a Ko-Fi ever again so idfk where I could even ask for further donations if possible. Basically nobody went over to the subsribestar but its not like that would even help much more either.
If you thought development was slow, get ready for it to take way longer for anything to happen when I have to put all my effort into finding and keeping a job.
I'm really sorry, it was working for a while, being able to just do this, and it was, enough, but 'just enough' isn't good enough for capitalism when the bar for just being able to just live is constantly being raised.
