mostly bugfixes and quality of life and bringing it up to current OSB main because my creative energy has been focused elsewhere
hope people are happy with things primarily being maintenanceAlso only now realized I had never made a post of 4.1c here, which was an oopsRead the changelog for a bunch of things but I think I'll note one of the major things here from this versionSome of y'all might have remembered that, global overrides menu which I put in in an incomplete state, which let admins/hosts disable/enable settings across their server or on certain worlds, but it was, hard to use for a number of reasons, was just, barely enough to function.to be fair it was just, I had the config setup and just couldn't be bothered to make a proper menu at the time, but now I have!
This menu is of course, primarily for admins and not really intended for normal gameplay so it still is a little bit janky but oh is it so much more usable.Pictured here is, using the global overrides menu on any entity type to override a main effect setting with a "digest" value to "none", this would effectively ban fatal digest server wide, anyone who had the setting on would have it temporarily set to "none" while on the server, while still allowing the other effects such as heal or softdigestthats just one example of its use, but this menu will list every setting value in the setting structure, even ones not normally accessible to the player (such as ones set by upgrades and etc.) which is why some of them simply have their ID string displayed rather than, a nicer translation string which will probably be gotten to laterbut like, say you wanted to not have anyone on the server doing CV, you can disable that globally, want to limit the number of occupants people are allowed to have, you can do thattheres also some more niche applications? like say, you want to set up some rules for like a pvp arena or something, like 1 prey at a time, cap digest power, everyone has to allow OV, you can set that for a specific planet where the arena ismuch like player settings these can be exported and imported from secretnote items this menu creates, so they can easily be copied around and shared
