DESCRIPTION
Sindel served as the queen of Edenia some ten thousand years before the events of the first Mortal Kombat. A benevolent woman and wife to the Edenian King Jerrod and mother of Princess Kitana, she was captured when Shao Kahn's forces invaded from Outworld. In the end, Jerrod was killed, and Sindel was forced to marry Shao Kahn. Unwilling to accept this fate, she kills herself.
