It looks very soft and different from my usual arts because it's a study! I fully based the pose and lighting on a reference!
(Me. the reference was a picture of me on my dusty carpet trying to take a picture because i couldn't get the pose i want from just rawdog sketching.)
Either way, this took longer than how it usually would compared to if I just drew it normally but that's because I also wanted to learn from it instead of just copying the pose (which was my initial plan)! I ended up wanting to copy the lighting too! That however resulted in a very soft look though because of the more realistic kind of shading. I ended up adding my own personal flourishes here and there so that it's not too soft! I don't think it suits my artstyle very much over all but it was fun to do it!
