yesterday i party'd hard with my Dad and i got really drunk yay xD
but non the less i also worked a bit late at night.
What i did was i changed the way the Settings menu works and the Fur is generated,
got some feedback from you loveley people and that is why i removed the "Ultra Fur" Setting and replaced it with a Checkbox.
Before it was:
Low - 16 Shells
Medium - 42 Shells
High - 72 Shells
Ultra - 92 Shells + SplineFur
Now it is:
Low - 16 Shells
Medium - 42 Shells
High - 72 Shells
And a Checkbox that Says "SplineFur"
This way it is much better, because you can set the Shell Fur quality to low and also get spline fur at the same time!
The look of the Spline fur is in some cases much different than the Shell fur, also the Spline fur supports much more detailed collision/Physics.
I would recommend enabling spline fur with Medium shell fur for the best experience.
Also new are a few scalability settings for the "General render quality", it now also changes the way antialiasing is done and view distance.
Today i will continue working on that release without being drunk! *hicks*
