The release of new pages always means a few days off for me—I'm so excited!
I'm trying to push the plot forward and "speed things up" a little. This has been happening for quite a few chapters now, with each scene adding something new to the story and moving it along. This chapter will really mark the turning point for Tera. It's not yet the final step (that would be too soon!), but it's going to stir things up for the Black Death and bring a lot of lasting problems.
A few thoughts on these pages: Tera has truly grasped the impact Black Death has on its victims and survivors. He's determined to take action, though I didn’t want it to be flawless. He's trying to act within the limits of his current situation—he's not yet ready to turn against the group because he's still lost; he still belongs to Black Death, but his way of speaking shows he's beginning to separate himself from their violence. So he acts, clumsily and imperfectly, behind the scenes. For now.
Also: He replaced his cracked mask with a new one: he's hiding his inner fractures and doubts from the other members!
I hope you liked those pages, I know it wasn't the Boy and Tera, which are our favorite thing but those scenes are needed haha.
