This is four more chapters than prior month but also more concentration into one story. For me, focusing on a single story, especially when my muse is burning really helps.

People are really loving the Warg story. I’ve mentioned it in the chats, but I do want to keep working on my HOTD story, I’ve been picking away at it, but I’m a bit in my own head about it. I know expectations are high and I’m second guessing myself which is clubbing my motivation in the face. Just hard to find the balance between preserving my vision and not getting pitchforked.
Halo just doesn’t have the spark right now, so it’s on the backburner but I promise to try to get back to it since it won the poll. I think in the future polls probably aren’t the way to go. Trying to continue writing something I don’t have strong inspiration for is a struggle and I could feel my creatives juices drying up as I tried it. When I was considering commissions, some folks warned me that was a good way to lose motivation and damn that is spot on because when you feel you have to write about something specific and don’t want to write about it, it’s just a wall.
