When I created the color thumbnails in my last post, I decided on six background colors.

Ultimately, I was debating between these three.

I chose pastel green because I thought it was the most comfortable color for the eyes and felt the most cozy.

It's a very subtle difference, but the background color saturation has been lowered here.

The focal point of the drawing should be the character's face.

I converted it to grayscale to check this.

Hm.... the Virginia opossum's dark legs stood out more than its face. So, I brightened them up a bit at the end.

Following the same principle, I changed the pale pink tail in the color thumbnail to a darker shade than the background, and also darkened the pink nose to make it more visible. This makes the face the most contrasting part of the image, making it the first thing you see.

Personally, I think it's cuter with a pink tail and a bright-colored nose. But balance is most important.... ⚖️
