[wip] Cookies and sea slug and isopod

It's a concept that combines animals and desserts~ It's a theme I like.

It's a simple sketch.

Here's a rough color scheme.

I'm trying to paint with a soft, monochromatic feel, using almost no other colors.

I can change the colors if I change my mind. For example...

It could be something like this cotton candy-like feeling.

But I've drawn a few paintings with this color combination before.

So this time, I want to try a color combination I haven't used before.

Plus, I'm really into chocolate-themed snacks right now.

Isopods and seaslugs are some of the animals I draw regularly, and I did a similar drawing three years ago.

It's an Oreo crumble isopod, but the word Oreo is copyrighted, so I won't use it .

I uploaded a picture with that title to the store before and had to edit it 😅

I chose a black and white nudibranch like Cookie & cream 🤍🖤

As you may remember, I've been wanting to draw a black & white sea slug since last year : Animal Drawing and Popularity Poll 3. Oh, but at that time, I had no intention of drawing it with cookies.

To give it an overall chocolate feel, I added a hint of brown as a point.

If you look at the WIP gif, you'll notice that I later toned down the contrast of the cookie a bit. If the cookie had been too contrasty, the sea slug wouldn't be visible. Since the sea slug is the main character :D

It looks like cookies and cream.... hehe

I've been putting on weight lately, so I've been cutting back on snacks. It's been quite difficult to draw while looking at food photos at hungry night 😂 But I'm going to eat some snacks today.... 😈
