Here are some of the finished corn snake and the process!

My goal this time was 40, but I guess I caught too many 😂 However, there were so many types I wanted to draw that I simply couldn't choose just 10 or 20.

Just like the bee from a while ago, this project is taking longer than I expected. If it looks like it will take too long, I might just draw 20 or 30.

Corn snake morphs are incredibly diverse and all beautiful, but the appearances found in nature are just....💕😚

So, personally, when I draw various morphs, I always make sure to include their natural forms.

For the first ten, I selected and drew the basic Wild type and a few single morphs.

Now, I will show you the sketches of 40 snakes, the process for 10 of them, and the remaining 7 finished ones!

10 x 4 squares = 40!

I was thinking of arranging them with a color gradient like the sea horse or squid drawings, but I changed my mind and decided to just mix them up.

The rough sketch looks like this. The red and blue lines are guide lines.

This is to clearly identify the top and bottom parts of the snake.

That way, I can draw the correct pattern accordingly.

Here is the completion process for the first 10 pieces I worked on.

The silhouette is always important! So I check it before adding color.

This yellow line is where I marked the parts to fix.

I think I spent over an hour looking at photos to figure out the difference between Anery and Charcoal 😂

Like Anery, Charcoal lacks red pigment. However, it has less yellow. Also, the area above the eyes is bluish during the baby stage, so I represented this by drawing the eye color slightly blue. It isn't perfectly accurate, but it kind of artistic license 😎

Amelanistic individuals lack black pigment in their bodies. Their eyes are also red and beautiful. Although the actual color is brighter, the eyes are difficult to see if drawn that way, so I am drawing the red eyes darker than they actually are.

Lavender seems like a really mysterious color!

I was curious why it's called Palmetto, so I looked it up, and it seems the name comes from the region where it was first discovered. ( Related link ) I thought that if it were a different animal, it probably would have been named 'koi'. The mix of white, orange, and gray gives off that kind of koi vibe🤭
