DESCRIPTION

Hello my patrons! I'm slowly making my way through the Lisa resurrection. An outstanding item on my to-do list is addressing the Lisa's original 400k floppy drive. I briefly looked it during disassembly of the machine, and noticed it was filthy and all gummed up, so there was no way it could have worked.

So join me while I dive in and try to to service this 1983 Sony 3.5" floppy drive.

Be warned: I assumed this service would be easy and much like the later Sony 3.5" drives. This is absolutely not the case, so I do plenty of things wrong in this video. Please bear with me as I struggle -- I do get there in the end. If you are going to work on one of these drives, please don't do what I do and read some of the guides first.

Thanks for all your support!
