Second channel: Inspecting and load testing an old unknown condition AT PSU
Hello my patrons! Next up on the second channel, we have a follow-up on the power supply I removed from the Agfa Compugraphic 9000PS RIP. Let's test this out and see if it's suitable for use on an IBM PC AT. This is the methodology I usually go through (off camera) to see if a power supply is suitable for use.
As far as the Compugraphic goes, I'll probably do a follow-up on the second channel where I test out the motherboard and IO board again with the SCSI drive connected up. Manu people seemed to think that it would work better as it would require a drive. I personally don't believe that'll be the case, because even a computer waiting for a SCSI hard drive has much more activity on the address and data bus than the RIP board had when I was testing it. I suppose we'll see, but from my experience, the machine is in a failed state.
That's it for now! Thanks for all your support!
