Militech is certainly bettering their offerings. This SIC RF2 plate boasts an almost edge to edge strike face coverage, and a very light weight. Good pressed backer, good adhesion of tiles to backer, and fragmentation control when taking hits. Alumina shows to be the better material in this case for stopping M855A1, but the second plate did show it's capable of stopping it, but may be close to that line.
