Velocity loss is pretty decent over the 4.3" Rock Compact. Trigger pull is long as it's basically double action, but somewhat like the Ruger 57 action. The slide partially cocks the hammer, and the trigger finishes pulling it back. You cannot restrike the hammer during say a light primer strike, and would have to cycle the slide. Had various failures to extract, mainly with AAC ammo, where clearing is not a speedy job.
I have the PX57 Gen 2 in from Tisas, but was shipped a gun with no rifling in the barrel. The replacement barrel that arrived today is from the previous model and I'm not sure if it even fits because the barrel OD is smaller than the one in the gun :\
