Welcome to early July, the spookiest time of year. Or at least it is for us, because we have been plowing full speed ahead into Dracula, our first ever Burlesque Musical.
I have been teaching choreography and giving notes in full, bad transylvanian accent, so I am fully immersed, ready to get spooky… bleh!
Class Alert:
With that I’ll share the fangtastic news (not my pun, but I won’t apologize for it) that we are officially launching our next Nerdlesque for Newbies sessions - as well as a Nerdlesque for Twobies class:
Taught by Vampire Queen Androsia Wilde, these classes are a six week sessional, with two performances on either Saturday, September 28th, or Sunday, September 29th.
$210 for 6 weeks of classes, and there is a sponsored spot available for any BIPOC community members!

Upcoming Shows
Dracula: A Musical Burlesque Comedy
We had an incredible number of applicants for our Musical - with over 100 (!) individuals expressing interest. That translated to something like around 20 video submissions and 80+ in person auditions, plus call backs!
And let me tell you, we were blown away by the sheer amount of talent that was shown to us. Plus getting to see all the wonderful faces of performers old and new is just the best way to spend the day.
And we found ourselves a cast, had ourselves a readthrough, and baby, we got a show going!

Anime Show
We’ve still got this one on the docket - but as we are all hands on deck for the behemoth that is Dracula, it’ll be pushed to the fall or spring!
Karaoke
The Return of the Return of the Disney Karaoke? Maybe? We’ve been playing around with lots of ideas for this as well - so stay tuned!
