BEHIND THE SCENES #15 - [S1E8.45]: Okay, Back To The Lesbians

whew... finally back to our girls!!!! and they're holding soup now!! epic!!

man, it was almost weird to be drawing these two again after so long... i had to make this one shorter cause the sketches took sO LONG... i'm too out of practice with them!!! i got it down now though, so next update'll be back to normal length >:3c

there isn't a ton to talk about story-wise with this one cause it was so short, BUT i do have something interesting i can give some behind the scenes on art wise!!

this update (and the next few, actually!!) are based off the third episode of the pilot series i made for the 2019 short story contest!! that episode never made it past the sketch stage, so i didn't ever get around to posting it anywhere--but originally, penny and eve were gonna come back and snuggle up in bed together, and then [REDACTED PLOT SPOILERS] were gonna happen. and maybe they kiss....

but i was still in college at the time, so i didn't have the time to finish it!! so, with the contest over already, i ended up just shelving the whole thing so i could focus on schoolwork... and then i dropped out and came back to do it better a second time!!! B) best decision of my life honestly, that art school SUUUUUCED like major bigtime sucked. i genuinely can't think of a worse time in my life than when i was there--there were other factors, obviously, like mental health stuff, but that was the biggest thing... as soon as i left, i felt SO much better, and got right back to making comics!! i'm really proud of how far i've come since then >:3cc

woops, i kinda started rambling there--but, yeah!! this is something that happened in the pilot episode, so i can post that version of it below, for ur viewing pleasure!! these are MEGA old, so please excuse the uh... Interesting... look of it LMAO

okay, some of these are actually pretty cute looking back at em... also, that crying penny in the middle is making me laugh DNJDFGNJH... i might make a high definition version of it at some point...

oh, some of the panels are also hand drawn!! im sure you can tell which ones, DFGNHJ--that was something i experimented with briefly for the sketches, but it ended up being a pain in the ass, so i went back to digital in the end B')

you can see a lot has changed though!! they had only just met and gone on a short walk around town at this point in the pilot, so things are pretty different... there was no park titty grabbing going on here LMAO

i hope you enjoyed seeing it though!! :DD i don't have much else to say on this one, so for now, i shall bid u adeiu... er... ok idk how to spell that. WHAT I MEAN IS GOODBYE. YES. love u guys!! :D <3
