I’ve always lived in the countryside, and honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Over the years I’ve had opportunities to move to places like London or even LA — to join content houses, offered lots money, and live that fast-paced creator lifestyle. But every time, I’ve turned them down.
Why? Because I know myself. Being neurodivergent, the noise and constant buzz of those environments would drain me fast.
Out here, surrounded by lakes and woods, I get the balance I need. Gaming and reading transport me to other worlds, but when I step away from the screen or close the book, I have the calm of nature right outside my door. It’s grounding. It keeps me sane.
The woods and water are my reset button. When life gets overwhelming, I can walk under the trees or sit by the lake and let my brain recharge. That peace gives me the energy and creativity to keep doing what I love — sharing gaming, stories, and little slices of life with you all.
For me, the countryside isn’t about “missing out” — it’s about choosing what makes me thrive. And I’m grateful every day that I get to create from a place that feels truly like home.
