The dark metal of this glaive is infused with burning energy. You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls made with this magic weapon. While attuned to this weapon, you are considered proficient with it.
This weapon has 3 charges and regains 1 charge when you finish a short rest, and all charges when you finish a long rest.
Carving Burn. Once per turn when you take the Attack action, you can spend a charge to replace one of your attacks with a sweeping strike of flame. Make an attack roll against each creature within range of this weapon, dealing 6d6 fire damage on a hit instead of this weapon’s normal damage. Each creature you hit and flammable objects in the area that aren’t being worn or carried start burning.
Very Rare Variant. The bonus to attack rolls is increased to +2 instead. Additionally, after you use the Carving Burn property, this weapon deals an extra 2d6 fire damage on a hit until the start of your next turn.
The flame answers to none; respect its hunger, or be devoured.
