At the start of your turn, you can choose to extend or retract these rings to gain their respective benefits:
Extended. When you make an Unarmed Strike on your turn, your reach for it is 5 feet greater than normal.
Retracted. You gain a +2 bonus to your AC if you are wearing no armor and using no Shield.
It is said that offense can be the best defense, but it is best to be prepared for both.
