Howdy everyone!
My final spring break gave me a lot of much needed clarity with myself and with this project. So I here is how the updates normally pan out. As soon as an update drops, I try to touch nothing with the game for 4 days to try to clear my mind and to see if there are any bugs to go and hunt down. After that week one is planning and thinking about writing. Week two is when intermittent writing starts. Week three is when writing must be finished and finally week four is renders and bug testing. What this actually means is that I end up spending a ton of time thinking about writing and trying to think of the story to be able to be told from the players perspective while still making it meaningful and consistent. And what I am starting to learn is that I am somewhere between sucking at writing or disliking writing. Either way I feel like the project being a slide show would not be worth it, so I am going to try to make writing as fun for me as possible so I am actually productive.
Right now it is projected to be a record month with an extra members which is amazing so thank you all so much and it goes to show something is working.
For this update here is the plan I can confirm 2 stages for Blair. And the launch of the most technically advanced minigame execution I have attempted and so far made thus far. No, I haven't bug tested it yet. But this minigame in theory should become a backbone to the core experience so it would be amazing to hear your feedback. I have 0 clue on the balance but it should combine your memory, with slight cooking logic, with an integrated leveling system mixed with ingredient cost and strategic fattening choice. So I am actually pretty proud of the idea of this minigame and it should be for minigame loves and minigame haters all the same.
On a different note I have finally planned out the early stages of Euphoria Creamery arc so vote on whether that should be the focus of the next update. And here is a sneak peak of a new trainee.
